Qualifying Canceled for the 2013 Kobalt Tools 400; Keselowski To Start On the Pole

Due to inclement weather at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, qualifying for the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Kobalt Tools 400 was canceled. Since there are not times, the line-up will be set by 2012 Owner Points. Because of this, Brad Keselowski will start on the pole with Clint Bowyer starting right beside him. The rain-out caused drivers like Kurt Busch, Austin Dillon, and Aric Almirola, who had good practice runs, to start deep in the field. Others like Kasey Kahne, Tony Stewart, and Denny Hamlin were helped by it and will start at the front. There were forty-four cars on the entry list, so only Mike Bliss will miss the race. We will have to see Sunday who will be affected by starting at the back or the front and who can win the third race of the 2013 season.
